Stacey

A Psychologist with almost 20 years’ experience in providing therapy to adults presenting with a range of issues. Stacey is an AHPRA registered Psychologist and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS)

Her focus is on providing a safe environment in which adults of all ages can explore and resolve issues relating to emotional distress. Stacey has experience delivering care and therapy for people experiencing depression, anxiety (including panic attacks), stress, loss and grief, relationship concerns, living with illness (life threatening, acute and chronic illness), phase of life issues including retirement, parenthood and spiritual crisis.

Stacey has a personal interest in Tibetan Buddhism and is also skilled in teaching relaxation

What to expect

Appointments

Typically, appointments are scheduled for 50 minutes, including the initial consultations and subsequent appointments.

You will be asked to complete some paperwork on arrival for your first consultation. This information will assist in understanding what you are looking for from therapy and aid in treatment planning.

Fees

If you have been referred by your GP and you have a current GP Mental Health Care Plan, a Medicare rebate will apply to your session. Currently the rebate is $92.90. At present a GP Mental Health Care Plan allows you to access a Medicare rebate for up to 10 individual therapy sessions per calendar year.

Alternatively, you may be able to claim through your private health insurance or pay privately for your appointment. Private Health members will need to contact their fund to check if they are covered for Psychological treatment.

Payment is required at the time of your consultation.
